What I Read Later Since July 2009

I’ve been a user of Read It Later List for quite a while. In an effort to support Marco Arment because I really enjoy his podcast, I’m transitioning to Instapaper. I salute RIL for making it so easy to export my current list of articles. I didn’t realize they would also include the 3,000+ articles I’ve read in the past three years.

Introverts, Podcasts, and Me

Last Monday, friends were in town visiting. We were driving back from the city so I decided to turn on an episode of Roderick on the Line for them to enjoy. Around eighteen and a half minutes into the episode, John nailed me.

Being an introvert is not easy. It’s really not, and I know a lot of the people listening to this podcast are introverts because that is by definition who listens to podcasts.

Chuckle. He continued.

People who like to hear other people’s voices only through their car stereo speakers.

Bigger chuckle. This is oddly specific.

Rather than having people sitting in the car with them talking to them.

Outright laughter. Spot on.
